LEVEL C1: PROFICIENT USER

COURSES FOR STUDENTS

Courses at level C1 (C1.1 and C1.2) motivate students to bring their command of the language up to a proficient level by using extensive practice in writing different types of texts, authentic listening and reading materials, maximised speaking practice through discussions, dialogues and debates, activities for upgrading and recycling vocabulary. The course C1.1 lasts for a whole academic year with lessons organised in two sessions per week, whereas the course C1.2 lasts for one semestre.

The courses are aligned with the six levels of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR levels).

These courses prepare students for the telc English C1 exam which they can take upon completion of C1.2 course.

For candidates who are not LinguaLink's students and would like to prepare for the telc language exams, LinguaLink offers Friday courses of 9.5 classes. These courses provide overview, test strategies and tips for the language exams and help candidates pass the exam successfully.
